Can't the drama leave WMU for like one weekend?
This weekend went quite well. Thursday I learned that I can throw a most excellent party. It turned out to be really fun. Friday night Steve & I hung out with Billy & his roommates & later met up with Nick & Mark for a while. That night ended up being really scary. Long story short, some stupid guy fell like 30 feet at least out of a tree. Next I left there "Lord of the Rings style" as Nick put it. Later Billy had a run in & is now screwed. At that point is where I saw police brutality first hand for the first time. It was totally and utterly uncalled for, and now I have lost basically all respect for the Kalamazoo police department. To top the night off one of Billys stupid roommates tackled some girl off their porch & neither could move for a while. Police, fire trucks, and a ambulance all came & a bunch of ppl, myself included, could not leave since our cars were blocked in. Luckily everyone turned out to be okay there. The next night, everyone got together at Whitehall & a bunch of ppl from out of town came too, to join the joint festivities at Tim & Jared's place as well as Kelly & Diana's downstairs. Yesterday, was nice too since Steve & I talked & are now back to good for real this time. Yay!
