I am so glad I decided to watch the last fifteen minutes of this episode Thursday night. This is just a very short follow-up.

I love it. I totally choose to believe that this is what happened. I only watched their scene from the episode, but I love how insistent he was about saving her. He could have just given her to the doctors and walked away but he didn't. And she told him her name! I can't believe how excited I was over a 30 second scene but it spoke volumes. These two will always be drawn to each other no matter what the circumstance :)

I wasn't even going to touch that Addison disaster and just wanted to think that this happened. He checked up on her and wanted to make sure that she was okay. He saved her life! I definitely see him wanting to check up on her. No matter the universe, they are made for each other. I don't think that scene on the show could have made that any more obvious. I think people are looking into the Addison thing too much(but that's probably what their saying about us and Lexie lol) in the AU universe everyone was pretty much headed in the same direction of the regular show. Mark and Addison still wouldn't have worked out and someone else posted what they wanted to happen and it involved Lexie going to rehab becoming a doctor and ending working at the same hospital as Mark. I definitely think something like that would have happened. If only we could get a follow up episode.

I read that post and I love how it ended with, and they get a dog! It made me laugh because oh yeah, this AU episode has definitely created a whole new parallel universe. I know she's very popular but I'm not Addison's biggest fan in the least and think she was such a horrible person to Mark. I don't know why anyone who likes Mark would want him to end up with her. I like to imagine that no matter what, he and Lexie are meant to be. I see him visiting her in rehab :)

I don't hate Addison,but I hate her with Mark(I actually hate her with everyone I think she's better off alone lol). She was absolutely horrible to him. I just don't understand how anyone can think they belong together. I have heard Addison say she loved Mark but I don't believe that, you don't treat someone you love that way. He and Lexie would have found each other and they totally would have gotten a dog lol.

Addison NEVER cared about Mark. She was sorry about the abortion years later but because of herself, not because of Mark and what she did to him or said to him or how she treated him. I know you like Addison so I'm trying to restrain myself lol

This AU is definitely one where I see them ending up in New York together :)

I like Addison but I like her because she such a mess lol. I don't care, you can say what you want about her I fully acknowledge what a train wreck she is. Which is why I don't really ship her with anyone. I honestly think she's still too selfish to be in a successfully relationship. She only regrets the abortion because she wants a kid, not because it was Mark's kid. Even if she did have the baby I could see her getting full custody and keeping Mark away from the child.

They would totally end up in New York. Lexie would have no reason to be in Seattle.

I think it's just because I'm such a fan of Mark, I just hate Addison - and Callie - for what they did to him. I'm so lame, being so possessive and protective over a fictitious man lol I really try to respect everyone's shipping preferences but I could never understand the Maddison fans.

I keep thinking of a follow-up of Mark visiting Lexie a few times in rehab.

I don't understand Maddison fans either. I can accept that Mark loved Addison(or at least thought he did), but there is nothing that shows me that she loved him. EVER. It was always about Derek and Mark was just back up. Just like Callie, Mark was Addison's back up plan.

I would love that! And I'm totally assuming Lexie already went to Harvard and all that and the drugs started after Susan died. It still makes me mad that we rarely get a Susan mention. No one acknowledges that Lexie lost her mom. It makes me sad for her.

I like the idea of Lexie starting AFTER Susan's death. She would want to numb herself and start doing so many drugs and we hardly saw Lexie mourn her mother's death but in this AU, she starts shooting and snorting and popping anything she can get her hands on. I don't know why but I like that she does SOMETHING because on the show, she kept it all inside and we never saw her have much of a reaction. That probably sounds horrible.

You're in my brain again because that's exactly what I was thinking! I like that we see some kind of reaction from her. The show just glosses over it and I hate that because it's obvious that Susan was a great mother. Lexie trying to numb herself after it happens makes sense, and i read that in the AU Thatcher killed himself, and it kind of seemed like Molly didn't exist because Lexie said she only had a half sister. So with no one else to take care of it makes sense that Lexie would break down and stop caring.

I love that in the "regular" universe, Mark thinks Lexie is the one to save him and now, in this AU, he saves her and he keeps saving her. I see Lexie taking so many drugs to numb herself from everything that's happened to her and Mark will be the thing to slowly wake her up. I can't believe how that little scene of him carrying her into the ER made my heart pound. It reminded me why I love them so much and it's been so long since the actual show has inspired me. Suddenly with this AU episode, I have so many more ideas!

I know. It speaks volumes that their scene was only like 30 seconds long and it was still so meaningful. I expected nothing from that episode and then I saw everyone freaking out and I still refused to watch because Shonda has ruined me lol. But I watched the clip and I just loved it. He literally saved her life. You know how much I love it when he saves her :)

I don't even think about watching anymore and I'm quite happy with that decision but I was on tumblr and it exploded and I turned it on just in time to see him carrying her into the ER. It was so amazing. I could watch that scene over and over again - Mark carrying her and then ignoring everyone as he tries to save her. My god, I just love them so much. Why do I let them run my life? lol

That scene was really great. I just love that he stayed there to save her. Like I said he could have just given her to the doctors and walked away but no he stayed. And OMG is he wearing a PURPLE shirt!!!! How did I just realize that???

One of my other flist friends pointed the purple shirt out to me on Friday and I had the same exact reaction as you. HOW THE HELL DID I NOT SEE THAT?! lol It's brilliant! Purple is SO their color. This will just make me add even more purple into my stories lol
