Party Over Here! Woot Woot!

Party at Ananth's house last night! It was pretty awesome! There was food and pool and liquor and music and hot twins! I first heard about it from Christine this week, but I got a call from Emerson yesterday afternoon. It was kinda funny because he was in full Vector mode when he called me. (I'm like, 'dude, I already work there...' Heehee!) Fun times! But he gave me directions on how to get to Ananth's, and I was happy.
I decided to arrive fashionably late, but I took a little longer than I'd expected and I got there at around 10:15. It started at 9:00. I went from F.L. time to C.P. time. Heehee! I missed the pizza, but I had just gone out to dinner with JuuJuu and Taisa. No biggie. So I arrived and Ananth hooked me up with a drink and I stepped in and was greeted by this huge, adorable, lovable doggie! He looked like a retriever, only he was more of a caramel than a 'golden'. Perhaps he was a lab? He reminded me of Sofiya's dog, Shadow. His name was Buddy. He was so cute! I would have taken him home with me if I could! But it wasn't long before I was distracted by everything else that was going on. I found Christine there, and her friend Paul, who had come to my roommate's 'going to the army' party. It was pretty much a full house! Everyone was there (all the current top reps) but only 2 receptionists (Christine and I, who made up two of the only three girls who showed up) and all but one A.M. were there (we were missing Leo). It was funny because as I was on my way there, Christine texted me and said 'come over! It's a sausage fest!' She was right. Heehee! There was a nifty little crowd around the pool table as the guys played with excitement and enthusiasm. I wouldn't have been so interested in the game had Niku san not been playing. It was fun to watch, especially since each time his team won by default because the other team accidentally made an illegal shot or something. I floated around the party, checkin' up on people, mingling, not being as much as a wallflower as I expected I would be, when suddenly the pool table found itself one player short. I was in the right place at the right time and I heard Toni chan ask "Hey Alexa, you wanna play?"
"Sure, I'll play!" I accepted the challenge! It was me and Toni chan vs. Niku san and Paul. I was doing pretty well, actually. I even got the 8 ball in the corner pocket!... Only you're supposed to hit the 8 ball last, which I didn't know, and I shot it while there were still, like, five other balls on the table. Oops! But they gave me a do-over, since I'm a pretty girl. ^_~ Toni chan and I ended up winning the game! (by default due to the other team's foul, but still!)
Then Ananth was like, "Hey guys, let's watch TV!" and all the guys were pretty much in agreement. By this time, Christine and the other girl had already gone, so I was the last girl left. But that was ok. Niku san and Trevor were sitting on the love seat and I had perched myself on its arm. Then Trevor got up to get a drink or use the restroom or something and Heehee! Surprise, surprise! I stole his seat! Fortunately, Trevor didn't seem to mind too much. He just sat on the other arm. Toni chan had pulled up a chair from the dining room and sat on my left side. So, I had Toni chan to the Left, Niku san to the right.. Yay me! I was the Nutella in the middle of a grilled Ajero sandwich!
Ananth turned on the UFC fight that he'd bought on PayPerView, and everyone seemed so excited! Except me. I was more curious than anything else. UFC's something that my friend Larissa's boyfriend seems obsessed with and she seems to barely tolerate. But on the bright side, instead of zoning in and ignoring me like many men do, (coughcough::dad::coughcough) Niku san was actually talking to me, filling me in, and sharing his commentary with me. I love that! Now THAT'S the kind of attitude that gets a woman interested in sports! If I'd felt ignored, I probably would have been more and more turned off by the mere prospect of UFC. I felt all warm and happy inside! I also got a chance to bring up a friend of mine, JuuJuu! (One day JuuJuu and I were at the mall and I was like "there's this totally hot guy I work with and his name's Ajero Niku san" and she's like, "Wait! does he have a brother named Toni? I know him!" So she asked me to bring her up to him and see what he says.) I was like "So, Judy Kitteru san. Ring a bell?" At first, he didn't seem to remember, but I jogged his memory. "She said she went to your high school. You were in the same animation class?"
"Oh! Judy! I remember her!" I did my best JuuJuu impression:
"Oh my gosh, you know Nick and Tony?"
"Yeah, she does sound like that," he smiled. Yay! It was so sweet!
Then, Ananth was like "Hey you guys! I know you want some Icy Pops!" Then everyone's like "Icy Pops! Alright!" So, Niku san goes to the freezer to grab the Icy Pops and he distributes them among the crowd. Whlie he was up, Toni chan plops into his seat.
"Nick lost his seat!" he cheerfully exclaimed, getting comfy. It was cute! "The back of that chair is so uncomfortable," he explained to me. I looked at the chair. It did look pretty gnarly. Pretty, though. So, we passed around the Icy Pops and the Cutco Super Shears to cut them open with, and enjoyed. So now the Nutella filled Ajero sandwich was flipped. Not bad! Except I was now a tad farther away from Niku san. Oh well. So eventually after witnessing a bloody battle, Niku san and Toni chan decided to get on down the road. I was sad to see them go. And when they were gone, I noticed that my Hakuna Matata went with them! (Heehee!) So, I left too. It was a fun night! I look forward to something like that again in the future!
