out about the town

Okay, there have been complaints that I never share infos about good plays or exibitions I saw, so here it goes:

I visited the second part of Newspeak at the Saatchi Gallery today. Most of the actual art is online so take a virtual stroll around.
I had seen the first part of this exhibition, featuring young n' upcoming contemporary artists in July last year. Much like the first part, and all art exibits in general, it was a mixed bag of goods. Some I loved, some I found interesting, some made me wonder and in some cases I just scratched my head. However, even those were worth seeing. There were new ideas, new takes and some reflections on my part. Such as how good some young artists are at the mere ages of 15-18. 2 rooms of the exhibit were filled with the winners of the Saatchi prizes for school art projects.

Fom Kings Road (where the gallery is located) we then made our way on foot to the Wyndaham Grand - Chelsea Harbour for High Tea. Well, we did not manage to finish the offerings. So I am quite surprised that some people told me they actually ordered seconds. We already decided to go back to the area some other day to explore the Design Centre next door.
