Paging Kedh!! NYC Restaurant Recommendations!

I hope you see this soon. We're planning on going in to the city this Saturday night for dinner with a group of friends-I think there are 9 of us and we need a good recommendation for a restaurant. I'd prefer not to go down to the meatpacking district just cause it's such a PITA to get down there. But if there is an awesome restaurant I'll trek

we love dos caminos and tabla.(tabla is indian inspired so not for everyone.)
oh and the spice market. i can go on and on.

we weren't crazy about it.:( it was okay and expensive for being okay.

That's good to know. Zaggat gave it a 23. Some of the ones that people love, Zaggat doesn't give the highest rating to.

i think it's the same owners as spice market. i ate a vong quite a while ago so maybe it's better now.
have you ever eaten at agave? that place is def good for groups. my friend had a bday dinner there. it was pretty yummy and good drinks.
gotta say again i do love dos caminos.

I haven't eaten at agave I'll have to put that on my list. It seems like Vong is the place we're going to I hope we like it. I'll give you a report when we're done.
