so,
the party on saturday was wicked. i was quite surprised at the number of friends it turns out i have, as was jonsey. thanks for coming y'all! unless you're the asshole who TOOK my big bottle of vodka with you when you left. i'm not glad you came, dickwad.
umm i'll quickie update the other shit in my life, in case anyone cares.
work: i have a job at greenpeace now. it's pretty fun so far - i get to stand outside and ask strangers for money. aspects of the job that i like include sun and flirting with random people (flirting, i've discovered, is KEY when asking people for money). aspects of the job that i don't like include sunburns and creepy dudes.
some of the things people say to get you to leave them alone are pretty incredible. today a guy told me that he doesn't "agree with the environment" a hahahahahah i don't understand what that means. so i asked him how he breathes with such severe political beliefs and he just said, "i like your look. how tall are you?" much laughing ensues.
school: uhh yeah, summer school. i actually should be writing a paper right now. stupid school.

oh, one last thing.
the John Cheesman Big Band is playing at the Rex this monday, june 6 at 9 pm. once again, it's a fourteen-piece band, playing original music written by the leader and drummer, john cheesman. everyone come out and see it.
