Now when I read Lord of the Rings I picture John Barrowman as Aragorn.

John Barrowman! What prompted this image? (not that he isn't ridiculously attractive, and has a voice to match)
Also, in other news, I FINALLY managed to finish torrenting the 1st series of the newer doctor who! :)

I'm honestly not sure. I think when he was on that episode of 'My Family' (also a very funny show). That and cos, y'know. I'll always picture Boromir as Sean Bean and Eowyn as Miranda Otto and so on, but some impressions never stuck (i.e. Hugo Weaving belongs in a dress, not in Imladris) and (did I explain this?) Viggo Mortensen is the king of the lizardmen.

Nope, you didn't explain this. Why is Viggo a lizardman?

I don't know... he just... is! He's a man who looks like a lizard.

I must say I can agree with you there. Something about him is vaguely reptilian? :P

See, I'm not crazy! Well... I am crazy. But I'm not THAT crazy ;)

Only a tiny bit. :P But I do know what you mean about the characters' actors leaving an impression. Just as Bret McKensie will always be FIGWIT, no matter how much I see him in Flight of the Conchords. Though I guess that's a bit backwards, isn't it? :P

I won't say it's backwards. To me, Elrond will always be a drag queen. And Boromir... well, Boromir and Richard Sharpe are basically the same person, anyway. Richard Sharpe is topless Boromir.

Where was Hugo Weaving in a dress? (Also, I only just realized he voiced Megatron in the transformers movies. Haha!) And yes, topless Boromir/Sharpe ftw.

'Priscilla, Queen of the Desert'

He was also a washed-up rockstar at one point. 'After the Deluge', which is really difficult to find and... that's also where I get my picture of Faramir, because David Wenham plays, y'know, an actual human being. (Although anyone who wears pajamas like that has not had sex in a long time.)

I'll have to go watch that, now.

I can see that, though. It would fit him. An actual human, eh? Fair enough. I just realized that he's also in Public Enemies. One more reason to go see it. Hmmm...

Have you ever seen Van Helsing? Faramir. Corset. Need I say more?
