I really like series 4, too! Although I do wish that Merlin could stop hiding his magic but I guess we still have to wait for that to happen.

Well, they should have done the magic reveal by the end of series 2. They better come up with something darn epic for when it does happen, because there's no way they can make it seem organic narrative-wise now.

I am surprised they haven't even had a story where Arthur finds out about Merlin's magic temporarily, and is then mind-whammied/magicked back to cluelessness. Then we would at least know what his reaction could be. Even Smallville had that happen in early season 3!

That should definitely happen! And there's been episodes where that would have fit right into the story!

P.S. What happened in Smallville? I did watch some episodes from the beginning of season 3 but can't remember Lex finding out?!

That's the Shattered-Asylum story arc when Lex gets put away to Belle Reve sanitarium after Lionel drugged him and made him believe he was having a mental breakdown after his time on that deserted island. In "Shattered", Clark saves Lex from being run over by a car and Lex sees the car smash right into Clark. Lex is in awe. But what's horrible about it is that Clark just leaves Lex at the sanitorium to receive shock therapy in order to make him forget about knowing about his powers. Their love really was doomed from the beginning, amirite?

Hmm I think I saw that... Stupid Clark couldn't get over his fear :( Lex just wanted someone that could trust him. Clex <3 :P
