(no subject)
Now that my summer holidays are over, I appear to have time to make my first post in over a month. Crazy. Vacation went by swiftly, but doesn't it always? At least I still have a week and a half left, which I've booked for the end of August.
Nothing new or exciting going on here in my neck of the woods. My fannish life continues to revolve around SPN. I had forgotten how bad the hiatus pains are when it comes to this show. Meep.
I appear to be in a minority, but so far I've found season 4 of True Blood entertaining enough. Maybe because I watch it mainly for the lol!crack-value? I can't fathom why people keep complaining about the silliness of the plots. Silly plots with dark characters is pretty much the point of the show. Plus the nudity, obviously, since it's on HBO. Duh.
I'm pretty excited about DH2! Although, I am dreading the movie will be all special effects all the time. Or maybe I just like to keep my expectations low. My local cinema is only showing the 3D version, so I might have to wait awhile before I get to see the movie. I like my movies plain old 2D, thank you.
