I thought Monty Python and the Holy Grail could not be any funnier but watching it with French subtitles somehow manages to produce fresh giggles. I particularly enjoyed the French taunting. I love how the translator hadn't even troubled to caption "Fetchez la vache!".

bluesbell is arriving tomorrow by Eurostar, and on Saturday we are going to Pierrefonds Camelot. I'm counting on it being a very silly place. Soon I can has Bell. ♥

Until then, here's Lucy Lawless in this week's The Flight of the Conchords. It was the first episode from the second series I've watched, and perhaps it's just me loving Lucy, but I enjoyed it more than any one episode from series one. Although Kristen Schaal as Mel is still the bestest thing about this show.

Here's Paula, a representative with New Zealand's Tourism Board, next to Bryan, the Prime Minister of NZ. The Prime Minister wants to establish a New Zealand Town in New York City à la Chinatown and Little Italy.

Geeky and lovable.

Xena cheekbones. Guh. Murray is kinda hot too.

I thought Paula and Murray made an adorable couple. Random and obscure ships FTW!

Proud Kiwis.

I love Lucy, I really do.

There was something mightily Booshy about Bret and Jemaine discovering hair gel, becoming addicted to it, and finding their cool. Of course, they only would have needed to contact Colonel Sheppard for advice and this would have happened ages ago. Silly boys.
