Michael Vids
So I found that great Franz Ferdinand video on MySpace the other day and added it to my profile because A) I adore the song and B) That video brings Michael down to his bare essence. (The Sexy Indeed!) One of these days I'll have to find out who made that thing and give them major kudos because it really is one of my favorite videos. But then I started thinking . . . there's a ton of character study Lex videos out there because Lex is such an easy character in that capacity. There's a lot you can say about him. His past, his relationships with the people in Smallville and his parents, his future, etc. But you know, what I would really love to see are more videos devoted to Michael! I don't think it would be that hard, he's made enough movies that coulf supply more than enough footage. I've actually been thinking of doing this and I've been compiling a list of songs that would work really well for him. I want to start with Elton John's "Blue Eyes," for two reasons: I've always loved the song, and because of Michael's amazing blue eyes of course! I think the lyrics would fit perfectly with some really pretty shots of his eyes. I hope I can find the time to actually piece some stuff together! I'm also thinking of doing "Hip to Be Sqaure," with heavy reliance on the Cribs clip, where he shows off his awesome geekiness to its full potential! (The lightsaber scene comes most readily to mind!) So yeah . . . I've had this in mind for awhile now, so I hope I'll find time between work, school and kids to do it. Spring Break is coming, after all!
