OK, I really-really liked the hot-spring C/K scene!
Lol at Cara cradling Kahlan on stretched arms!
"I don't know," Kahlan admitted. "You can hold me closer." Awwww, K is so cute there!

Cara’s “I will protect you from everything” was kinda chilling, like, she would protect her from the rescue also.

It was sweet of her to use to bring a wizard when Dahlia was sick. A nice touch!

"There is nothing "bad" about training, Kahlan." Crazy Cara is crazy. She definitely still bad on the head.
And it’s so hard to talk to her. Her reaction is very unpredictable and she goes from calm to insane in a split second. Poor Kahlan had to be so careful.

I always love their childhood memories! Idk, they are so precious! They affect me so much, I get so emotional I feel embarrassed, lol.
An orange tree memory <3!!!!

Only you always forget that Cara was a sweet child too. M’S didn’t take mean or unkind girls. Only the most compassionate, kindest girls.

"She got up and we walked home. She hid her arm from me and I couldn't see how broken it was," she said, touching her own lip, thinking of Dahlia, "and that was innocence...when I thought pain was when she fell from a tree."
Here I teared up a little. I held myself together in Denna/Snake scene and Cara/Kahlan was so easy and almost sweet I just didn’t expect to start crying at old innocent memories. Probably, you’ve ruined my nervous system, haha!

"The past has no power." I agree, it’s a good thought. It doesn’t possess power, sometimes we become affected by past and it’s totally wrong. We can learn from our experiences but we can’t let it affect our today’s life.

lol at the hot spring scene...omg I felt so cheesy but they needed to bond a little so...I'm glad it didn't seem like total corn. Kahlan loved it :D I am also impressed that you picked up on the chilling undertones of Cara's "I will protect you from everything." I wasn't so sure that would come across but yeah definitely...
haha yeah Dahlia learned how to use wizards from Cara :P I know you love glimpses of Cara's sweet side.

About Cara and her feelings on her training... remember when we discussed angelicsinner's portrayal of how Cara talked about her training? Of course I had to throw my own opinion in there lol. Haha maybe in the future she POSSIBLY would feel differently but never here heheh. And of course it had to be short and sweet too. I just totally interept her so differently, I know I know XD

You are totally right, she is hard to talk to!! Idk she is very guarded and feels no need to explain herself the majority of the time. And we gotta remember Snake trained her so... she's a strange product of so much.

Awwwww I'm so happy you were moved by the childhood orange tree! Cara was so umcomfortable but I figured Kahlan had behaved herself so well so she deserved a tiny reward. haha yeah I know Cara was a good girl too but even the best girls sometimes have the worst moments XD Plus, the Mord'Sith couldn't know EVERYTHING about Cara's character before they snatched her

That is just so beautiful how you're able to be emotional over their little memories. I truly love it and I'm happy how freely you share that :D I think in all the darkness of this story, it's important to remember where they came from and what shaped them. lol my bad for ruining your nervous system, I hope I'm forgiven ;)

"The past has no power" I do agree with you too... it's not an easy thing to believe though and it's usually one of those dreadful things that are easier said than done. But that's Cara.

Nope, the hot spring scene wasn't cheesy at all. I liked intimidating Cara even after the good massage she can't relax and still so dangerous. And glimpses of her sweet side are really are the glimpses. I feel practically happy when I see them. Her being mean, oh, that I don't have to look for just find a random scene with her and she will be mean there, lol.

Haha, bear, of course I remember the discussion! Angelicsinner is very kind to her Cara. Lexa_red - not so much :D
I believe that your Cara is proud of her training, she's hidden her pain and her fears and remembers only the fact that she overcame all obstacles and very proud of herself. imho.

Yeah, I agree that even the best girls sometimes have the worst moments She just told it so like it was very natural for her to be mean. And why Dahlia didn't tell her about the broken arm? It's just too sounds too M'S. But maybe she didn't want Cara to feel guilty? Yeah, I guess so. I didn't think about it, lol! I would have told the whole world that my arm is broken, haha.
I still see these oranges like the little suns and two little girls sitting on the tree branches, so beautiful and innocent!

Oh, you are definitely and always are forgiven, Lexa, it's my choice to read the story and ruin the nerves, lol!

"The past has no power" I do agree with you too... it's not an easy thing to believe though and it's usually one of those dreadful things that are easier said than done.
So true, it's hard to forget all past regrets and mistakes made. They can haunt and mess with the present life for years. But everything is only in our heads and we just make that wrong choice thinking about the past too much.
