I always end up watching Operation Andy with this sort of horrified fascination, because it utterly appalls me, and yet at the same time, I look at Ryan and at Beecher and at Keller and at all the various permutations thereof and how they mesh and work and even look together, with Keller leaning forward in his seat, all indignation during meeting, and Beecher just out of the shower with his towel draped low on his hips, and Ryan lounging back against the wall distributing tits with his hips pushed indolently forward and they just ... they're .. omg. It's like the same kind of fascination I have for a Glock 19 or a Sig Sauer P226, with a set of strong graceful hands field-stripping it and then locking all the pieces back together and sliding the magazine into place, fingers arched around the grip as the light glints off of the curve of the barrel and ... there's this stark, harsh beauty to it and I end up feeling like I shouldn't feel that way about something designed to deliver so much destructive power, something with so much contained violence.

And that's sort of the way I feel about the Triumvirate during Operation Andy.

It also makes me want to read an AU - a definite AU, not an AR that's a scenario where they never ended up in prison, but an actual AU - a caper .. heist ... thing with Beecher and Ryan and Keller. Because the Triumvirate in a heist AU story has the potential to be a thing of fucking beauty, I'm telling you.

Something with fedoras. And crisp white shirts. Oh yes.

story ideas, oz
