Well, 9PM at the lab again. Still have about an hour for the electrophoresis to finish, then I need to carve out the DNA with a scalpel. The system for gel purification isn't exactly pretty here. You set your gel on this big block back-light unit that spews forth UV radiation. The ethidium bromide in the DNA glows orange inside the greenish-tinted

Despite the UV radiation hell over there, it still sounds like your summer's going better than mine.

I'm going stark staring mad over here.

As far as jobs go-have you thought about seeing if the USF library is hiring, or would that put you on campus more than you really want.
