calculas I
calc one is really about two ideas. they are integration and differentiation. those two are paired together much like addition/subtraction and multiplication/division. differentiation is a rate of change. basically it tells you how a curve (function) is changing at a given time. this is built up by tangent lines. cool thing about lines is that it is easy to see how they move. the old rise over run type deal. integration is the area under a curve. which is built up by rectangles. most people know how to find the area under a rectangle, it has something to do with length and width. and the top side of the rectangle is just a line segment. so i take that back calculus is really just about lines. well lines and limits.
