Aw, I love the progression in this, especially the love and concern they have for each other in different ways in the last one. I think my favourite part is this though:

“Oi, I think I deserve a nice dinner at least.”

“We'll go home by the chippy, then.” Really made me giggle!

Okay, firstly, thank you! Wow! Secondly, WOW. So much awesome relationship stuff packed into this and them totally in character.

I loved the matter of fact, yet adorable way they finally get together -

“You don't put out on the first date?”

“Oi, I think I deserve a nice dinner at least.”

“We'll go home by the chippy, then.”

So cute!

And a casefic! And more relationship!

Can I say, how thrilled I am that you have dealt with the reality of Robbie's age, the age difference, and the difficulties they are likely to face.

While I normally don't particularly like reading when rellies/friends react hostilely to my pairings' relationships (just because there's enough of it in real life) in this case I think you've totally nailed it, of COURSE Lyn's going to react like that, she's just had a terrible fright, and she's stressed and she's just found out from gossip. Well done!

And I love James' response, getting Lewis fit, quitting smoking, just taking care of him. D'Aww.

And the last paragraph is GOLD.

THANK YOU.

I really enjoyed this series of stories. So much depth and love here, and so much believable detail. I loved the chippy moment, and Hathaway's breakdown, and your realistic approach to their relationship.
