This is incredible! I love all the references you have put in, and James' friendship with Zoe is so sweet and the way Jamrs confesses to Lewis is perfect. I love the quest imagery as well. I enjoyed every word of this!

This is absolutely wonderful. Such a lovely, glorious journey through their relationship and James's attempts to understand himself and his needs and wants. So many lovely scenes along the way, in particular the expansion of the If you go, I go conversation, but many others as well. You've shown them as friends who truly understand and care for each other, and then finally making what at that point feels like such a natural transition to more.

But it isn't just the story itself that I admire; it's the way you tell it. Your writing style is sublime. The imagery, the similes, the quotes and the asides are perfect, and to sustain them over this long a piece - I'm green with envy :)

Very lovely and memorable story. I hope you'll be posting it on AO3 after the reveal - I want to download it to my Nook for many re-readings :)
