Dear writer--thank you! This is so lovely! I think what I like most about it is that you give a sense not only of what they mean to each other, but also what kind of people they are: they're almost happy to work on Christmas because they are keeping people safe and their co-workers can enjoy their holidays. Quietly selfless, both of them!

So it's especially nice to have them find each other!

I also like Innocent's quiet amusement about the whole thing.

This is lovely! I particularly like Robbie echoing James's own comments about it not being a neat dividing line. And both of them keeping quiet about working on Christmas, not wanting the other to feel obliged to do so too, is just so like them! Nicely done!
