Whoever said roses and big white teddy bears were the way to a girls heart?
So I've been watching Beat Your Heart Out for inspiration for my So Beautiful fic, and came across the scene where Derek and Mark are setting up for the proposal that never was and realized I'm so glad that it never happened that way. Meredith would have hated it. It would have been over the top and too corny for her. The elevator proposal was perfect for them.
I hate how Derek shot down Mark when Mark was trying to open up to Derek. I know that if Derek hadn't mocked him that way Mark would have told him the truth that evening. All would have been better. Though it does lead to some great fic writing with him and Lexie breaking up...yeah wherever you go about episode synopsises they break up. To me she's given him an ultimatum and I've just assumed that it would have led to a break up in the future especially with how in the next episode she's telling he can't flirt dirtily with her at work...he can flirt but not at work.
I don't know...maybe I should just quit over analyzing things...ugh this is why I shouldn't fic write because I get to much in my head over things.
