(no subject)
Saw the killers last night. A lot happened, but i shall talk about the bands (mainly).
the first band known as "the apartment" were very good, like a my vitriol/joy division/smiths mix. The guy broke his amp at the end. "\m/" or something.
the second band were known as Ratatat, who were shit. they had like, a screen with all these "arty" images and that behind them. They were only a two piece (bass, guitar) and the rest was done with a drum machine and samples. they might of been good if they had a singer. That's a big might, though.
The Killers were good. It was all about Jenny, the first song i ever heard of theirs nearly a year back. I chatted to loads of teenyboppers after the gig. It was nice though, seeing how happy they were going "OHMYGODIJUSTMETBRANDON" and then chatting to them about bands, with 95% of them saying that their favourite band is Nirvana. Bless.
Hassan and myself tried to get in touch with Adam to meet up and do something after, but he was asleep, so we headed home.
Apparantly the C:B gig is still on. I dunno how i'm gonna afford it, despite it being only £5.
Oh, and all those Reading types i'm gonna meet with, i won't be there till friday afternoon. It's quite a complicated story, but it doesn't bother me too much. I'm only really gonna miss Goldie Lookin Chain, the rest i don't care about. It's a small price to pay for me getting in for free plus a vip wristband and all that jazz.
Also it's gonna rain a lot is it? Oh man, the clothes i have arn't designed for rain, and more importantly, neither are my trainers.
