It's a bright June Afternoon, but it was cloudy in Wales
Hi there! It's been two years. And I missed my June tradition by... well, it's still June, innit?
It is difficult to catch up so I'll go to the top of my life news and just say that I've fallen in love with Wales so damned hard that I've been there three times in less than a year, after 8 years without international travelling due to nesting.
What you see in the pic is St Catherine Island in Tenby, South Wales. It was used in BBC's Sherlock S4 as Sherringford Prison for Sherlock's sister, Eurus. Tenby is my happy place now.
I also love Cardiff and Llyn y Fan Fach lake in the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park. Here you have Michael Sheen explaining to you the change of name to the Welsh one. Also, I have been learning Welsh for three years via duolingo. A lesson a day goes a long way! (At least enough to keep it alive in my brain).
Why Wales, you might ask. Well, some people made the most of the Pandemic to start publishing serious books, whereas I went back to writing HP fic and have been writing non-stop for four years (still 2 minimum to go) in this cursed, terfed fandom. It was suppossed to be a one-shot but it got out my hands. Chapters 4 and 5 are as long as GoF and OotP respectively. I have no measure. Scrivener helps me get carried away with scene after scene. They get so so super well organized! Anyway, chapter 6 on take place in Wales snd I fell in love while doing research.

I was recently asked for a reupload of Hanaichimonme, so I searched through my 2007 (!!) folders and, although I couldn't find the partial scans, I still had the folder I used to share the full pages, so I reuploaded them in big style. I tried to adjust the dialogues to be read as easy as possible. Remember they were quick translaexplanations on the go, by a non-native of either language, so they are imperfect. Still. The doujinshi is so hilarious its almost self-explanatory. :D
