I still cannot understand why people harrass artists just because they portrait couples or ideas that aren't to their liking. Thankfully I manage to keep away from ship wars, but sometimes I see a post by an artist I follow that makes me sad, because it is obvious how it affects them. I personally don't like the idea of dark side! Poe, and skip any post with that content, but cringed at the "sorry for existing!" reaction one artist had after being harrassed for a single piece she drew with that concept. I don't ship Reylo, I don't think that Kylo deserves Rey even if he ever "redeems", but I follow a couple of Reylo artists because they are either totally awesome and hilarious (Liberliberlula) or make beautiful creations (Panda-capuccino). Drawings don't offend me. It offends me to see artists hurt because of what they draw.
