Pacific Rim

I loved Pacific Rim. Didn't disappoint one bit. Kept me at the edge of my seat.

I just wished they had chosen different actors for Raleigh and Chuck, they looked so much alike sometimes it was hard to tell who was who. Raleigh's brother looked less like him than Chuck! Also, I wish the triplets had got more screentime. Didn`t even notice when they left for good. One of them must have had Roberto Hongo as his coach, because he wouldn't let the basket-ball alone for a second. I bet he slept with it.

It was nice to see a story between two characters, let alone a man and a woman, like Raleigh and Mako, that starts off well and ends up well with little to no drama between them. There's always the mandatory clash. Like Chuck with Raleigh, for, again, NO reason.

Idris Elba was way too serious, too cool. But he was nicely in place. I am so thankful Tom Cruise couldn't make this movie. I wouldn't have watched it with Tom Cruise in it even if they paid ME to watch. :D

I enjoyed it so much now I feel empty because there is no upcoming good movie until fall. ::Sigh::
Ah, but there is always fandom.
