Lately I am on a fanart hunting spree, mainly for South Park. There is really astonishing Kyman art (Kyle & Cartman), but also pictures involving Kenny, and Creek, that odd pairing of Craig and Tweek. So many awesome artists!
I also get very happy when I find good Team Fortress 2 art. I am not picky with the pairing, there are so many possibilities.
I finished IT Crowd and I must say that the very last episode sucked a lot. The previous had been so much fun, particularly the whole bomb-deactivating computer issues scene, and how Moss got arrested. I cracked up all through the second half. How can a series end on such a low note, though? I am somehow sad that there is no more IT Crowd to watch, but I like my series to, you know, END.
There's a thing regarding comments on social networks like LJ and FB. I don't mind much not getting comments or likes or whatever in my own entries, because I post for the simple fun of sharing. What I can't really stand from the bottom of my burning viscerae is when people repeatedly or systematically do not reply to comments left in their own entries. That makes me doubt whether those people care to be read at all. Once, I forgive, we all have busy days. Twice, you don't get comments from me anymore. Commenting can be difficult and even stressful when people share very personal things that can't be taken lightly, unlike in a funny fandom post. Lurking is a safe, comfortable and happy sport, and two can play that game. Hell, your whole f-list can play it. The problem is that, since I keep a manageable f-list, when I notice someone doesn't reply to my comments, I stop even caring about that person's posts, because I feel uninvited to their sandbox, an intruder. I wish they were more honest and defriended me already, if they are not interested in communicating. And I wonder if any of you feels the same. Specially since LJ has become the Sahara Desert and the networks have been invaded by forever-reblog picspams and cryptic, attention whoring one-liners. Daily life prevents us from posting frequently and keeping up to date with other people's news, but when the chance for *real communication* arises, Y U Not talk back to people who care about what you have to say!? Wakaraneena, wakaraneeyo. : (
