I just stay in the LJ community (which is well and strictly moderated, that's why there is no wank and creepiness whatsoever). My friends link me the Tumblr crazies and it makes me want to cry. I don't want to sound like an elitist, but they really give the fandom a bad name. I mean, what's with all the sexual fantasies? ;_;

I... don't want to know about those fantasies. At all.

I also meant that I don't read fic, unlike most of the fans -and I am usually a fic reader, as you know. It's not that I don't think they might be bad. On the contrary, I fear they might be SO GOOD that the next new canon (S2 before and S3 now) would feel poor in contrast. I have expected too much of canon after fic reading and I want to avoid that. The price is missing the gifs, parodies and other goodies....

Hahahahaha! That was EXACTLY happened when I read fic about the Pool incident. They were so good that I had high expectations and when it finally did I was like...bleagh. Well Scandal was pretty bleagh in general, but they really upped their game in The Reichenbach Fall (my fave episode). Which is also why I fear for the next installment :))

How could they end the cliffhanger LIKE THAT!! But I was glad to be rid of Moriarty --- the reason I couldn't enjoy TRF more. : ( Histrionic A.H.

I just hope the re-reencounter is epic, rather than matter-of-factly and cold.

You know I'm kinda relieved that you thought Moriarty was histrionic. If you look at the fandom I thought I was the only one. Everybody seems to love him. I feel he was miscast (or badly characterized).

I want the re-encounter to be FILLED WITH EMOTIONS. I can't handle a cold Sherlock no more
