Mikey Walsh (a v.v. young Sean Astin), up to no good.

Last week I had the immense pleasure of watching The Goonies on the big screen again after so many years. The cinema room was full of children of the 80's, laughing for the umpteenth time at the same old jokes. There were probably some random individuals who missed it back on the day and were brought along by friends to retrieve a bit of their missing childhood. We bought the tickets two days in advance and only found seats on the third row, which made it feel almost like 3D. So, so worth it and enjoyable!

(Titanic, El Rey León, La Amenaza Fantasma.)

Mikey and Data, always holding hands, embracing, skipping together like schoolgirls, being endlessly adorable. Poor Brand (Josh Brolin) seems now condemned to play the bad guy in modern films. He was so handsome back then. Big brother through and through. And have you seen Chunk (Gordie) now?
