The Hunger Games and Lonely Dark Lords

I have greatly enjoyed The Hunger Games trilogy this summer and can't wait for the first movie next year. More about the cast here. The books are incredibly addictive and should translate well into cinema. My favorite is the second, Catching Fire. Also, district 11 breaks my heart. ;_;

It's interesting that the guy who'll play Peeta also played Steve, Darren Shan's best friend and later arch-nemesis in The cirque du freak. NOW I have a reason to watch that movie.

I have a crush on Katniss' actress since X-Men: First Class. *__*

EDIT: Wee, a movie teaser!

Just finished Dark Lord Seeks Friendship, Maybe more, a gay Fairy Tale parody with cute, evil, unicorn-hating princes, androgynous half-elves in ugly glasses, handsome Vikings to lift your spirits any day, female bodyguards that remind me of a cheerful version of Arya Stark, and the odd emo Vampire. The story is amusing, but the prologue is pure gold.
