And on day 8 of month 8 of year 8...
I spent such a special day getting lost in Osaka, my favorite city in Japan. I visited the aquarium once more and watched in ecstasy the manta rays, the whale sharks, the octopuses and all those adorable marine creatures. And later, back in Nanba, I just walked on and on and found the Tsutenkaku tower in the New World area by chance. I had never been there! The random finding is as much fun as the searching. I was just looking for a place to eat, as usual. It happened with Tokyo Tower as well...
Project K, 2008: Kantô, Kyûshû, Kansai, mission accomplished.
This has nothing to do with anything but if you remember the NewS Weeeek commercial and the Rikkai version, there is also a Hyoutei version. And I'm lovin' it. They look SO GOOD. Aaaah, their Imperial Presence always brightens my day (those of you going to the myu, I hope you enjoy it!).
Tomorrow I am finally going home. And I just can't wait to be there. I am going to miss many, many things, including being able to catch up immediately with animanga and doujinshi news, and also the Japanese extravagant assortment of foods and sweets. But it's time to leave behind 16 years of obsession and move on a bit.
See you once I am back down on Earth!
