[PICS] September is over, and so are my trips...for now

Does this picture look familiar to you?
I bought both that one and the previous E21 volume right before going to Miyajima by train. I love reading the manga in the train. Even if I had already read the scans, I read it from beginning to end and backwards, and even looked up the unknown words and expressions. Hell, I had 5 hours of shinkansen on Saturday and another 5 hours on Sunday! I love this manga so much. If you want to know which extras this book has, as it is the 4th Anniversary conmemoration, and also the magic "21" number, check this post by a truly kindred spirit.

Last Friday I went to Miyajima with my parents, who returned to Spain yesterday. On the way to the station, as usual, I went to the 7eleven, and I happened to find Volume 21 of Eyeshield21. It was the 6th of October. Last time I was in Miyajima, it had been the 6th of August. Funny thing, I took that picture above on the 7th, the same date I posted that two months ago. I hadn't noticed before that the room was the same. I didn't ask for it, but it was cool, as the ocean view is very nice.

I am bit sad today, but let's not talk about what is rather obvious, after 10 days non-stop with two of the people that I miss the most (and who also best know how to get on my nerves), living out of any routine, but still with a dose of nasty work last week which stressed me for several days. Last night I came back from Tokyo, where I had returned only the day before (It's 1000 Km away from where I live), and today, I took the chance that it is a holiday to rest, tidy the house and also prepare a couple of pictures to illustrate happy additions to my Japanese bounty. Because pictures speak better than a thousand words.

The futons of the room in the Miyajima ryokan remind me of the Tenipuri Family bedroom of Masaharu-san, Shuuko, Kikumaru and Kaoru-chan.

This is my new sponge, Sponge-kun. Always happy to rub you.

He is a fan of 2nd-year tennis players, like me. Here he poses before the famous "Ni-nen brawl" poster.

There is no Eyeshield21 calendar this year. Booo! But at least we get an official manga illustration book on November, which is much better than the anime posters. Following the anime is painful enough (that is why I am so far behind...).

And if I have fallen behing with said anime, and PoT manga, and whatnot, don't get me started on my doujinshi to-read list. Some of those doujinshis you can see in next picture, I bought last year!
No, I am not a person who opens the doujinshi as soon as I get them. I only unwrap them before reading them. Reading them at leisure, in bed, preferably in a hotel, after the shopping. Ok, that sounded quite perverted. But remember that I am a full-time Doujinshi Hunter TM, which specialises in crack and in some in-deep obsessions. Nothing can distract me when I am in a doujinshi shop, not even the Japanese, or their kids (some women browse slash with their toddlers at their feet, or the babies in their arms). Although I must admit that last time, yesterday, I had set myself a strict limit that I managed to stick to, mostly thanks to a 5-year kid sitting before the Eyeshield21 shelves. And some dad was coming down the stairs with his 7-year-old son when I left. I suppose they came to check on collector's items. But I am still amazed at big bookshops, where yaoi manga and novels are displayed for everybody and their children to see, specially since they are strategically placed, at least here where I live, next to the Sanrio merchandise O__o

And something, or better said, someone who prevented me from spending more money last September, the day before my parents came to Japan, was karu_chan, who spotted me while I was raiding the ToriShishi shelves at the Ikebukuro K-books and had the courage to approach me and introduce herself. She was on her way to a P*nish event, but we had enough time for a coffee nearby ^_________^ That was a happy, chance meeting.

OK, so these are the doujinshis I haven't read yet...

From left to right: Captain Tsubasa, Slam Dunk, Hikaru no Go, Eyeshield21 and Prince of Tennis.
And there is a bit more of the latter, and also some FF8 and Harry Potter.
I only realized (or remembered) today that the "Isumi no go" doujinshi is by Yamada D. Yonezoh. And the Captain Tsubasa cover is by Mamiya Oki. "Tenitrix Revolutions", a classic (I have "Reloaded" in Spain). And "Komu Komu dot Komu", Komusubi-centered.

For a better perspective of the volume:

...and going up.

But there are some doujinshi I will sell before leaving, to diminish the weight. Some REALLY BAD DOUJINSHI. The errors of our shopping ways. I have about...only 10 (::cries in horror::)

The box you can see at the background is my flamant new EPSON Colorio Printer-Scanner, which I have named Hulkling because...the box is green and my love for the YA deserved some homage. I found it on a trip to DEO DEO store with my parents. The model was on a special sale, as new models were coming in a few days. It costed 12 000 yens (around 80 euros). And the ink, the official ink, is so cheap! Only 1000 yens (6 euros) per cartridge.

And with him I have scanned some of the highlights of my latest doujinshi raids, COVERS only. But, you know? It's the covers that make me choose them in the first place, taking the risk of disappointment once open. Usually, they live up to the expectations. Sometimes they frustrate me, but most often I am quite happy with my purchases. However, I swear one day they are going to kick me out of a hotel for bursting out laughing loudly for several ours until midnight. That is why I alternate tenderness with crack. And I am in an agressive Hyoutei spree STILL.

Prince of Tennis: Kabaji x Atobe.

I'd had an eye on that doujinshi for a while, but it was not until it was posted on pot_doujinshi that I decided to buy it. It was expensive for Japan, but worth every yen. Actually, it was about 15 euros, so nothing to pull my hairs about. And since there was another one by the same author, I gave myself a day to consider it carefully, and the following day, while my parents were sleeping their jetlag off, I went back to buy it. The advantages of having the hotel where all the shops are ;D

Final Fantasy VIII

I don't like Laguna stories very much, because they are quite sad. This one is, too. But it is beautiful all the same. Specially thanks to Kiros.

Final Fantasy 8...and the other? XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
Everybody x Squall, mainly Seifer, who kills everybody else. Beautiful art. Might post random tender samples someday.

Everybody x Zell. I bought it only for the "FAINAL FANTASY VIII, Zell is important" logo, which amused me to no end. Then I fell in love with the fact that everybody loves Zell and to what extent, and laughed with the seme-for-Zell ranking, in which Quistis is at the top as super-seme.

Harry Potter

HILARIOUS PoA parody. Remus kicks Sirius ass'. The "Cosplay!Snape" boggart lesson. Harry's retaliation to Draco's drawing in a paper-bird war.

This is the back cover:

Sirius: "Remus, you've become one grade stronger!"
What Remus is drinking is water.
"Now say aloud: RIDDIKULUS!"
Harry: "My glasses!!"

And this, this one in particular, KILLED ME SEVERAL TIMES OVER.

THE CREATURE
THE KREACHER

It does sound the same. I hadn't noticed until I saw this doujinshi XD

What is this, you say? But of course, a Kreacher x Sirius doujinshi!

Below the umbrella you can read Sirius and Kreacher's names, well: "My Master! Kreacher".
It is PRI-CE-LESS. 1000% crack.
Both elves are Kreacher, with different clothes. Blame it on Hermione and Remus' weird hobbies.

GEKOKUJOU RANGERS

Finally, something they put in my Mandarake bag yesterday and only realized once I was home: a flyer about a DVD that will come out soon, about a kind of Power Rangers series, which features the latest Myu's Hiyoshi, Taka-san and Kabaji. I am sure that you, my fellow Myufans, and even your grannies, have known of this for long, but since I am always out in space, I only learned thanks to this:

Bigger, original version here.

It seems that Taka-san's actor aka bizcochín is EVERYWHERE lately. However, I am more excited about the upcoming Animate release of Boys Love.

I don't know how many times I have watched it already, as most of you must have, I am sure, but just in case:

BOYS LOVE Trailer
Kawamura x Oshitari, RL fanservice gone far too many steps beyond
I owe the link to mochita_chan, who keeps me updated when I need it the most :__)
