The story is mainly Taka-Fuji, but true to herself, she has Kaido starring most of the pages along with his senpai, on the first time Kawamura and Kaido talked outside the club. If truth be told, I like these two boys so much, sometimes I secretly wish they weren't gay at all.
Seigaku's regulars are going on a tennis camp (concentration) and there is a survey that everyone must fill out. Taka-san is the last of the 3rd years, so he asks whether he is supposed to pass it around to the second years. Fuji replies that he is on his way to the library, so he can do it himself after Taka-san has written it. Taka replies that he prefers to do it himself, as there are scarce chances like those, to go visit his kohais.
So Kaido was in class 7 and Momo in class 8. Will Kaido be in class?
Kawamura: Kaido!
Kaido: ...senpai.
Kaido: Concentration...
Kawamura: This time only the regulars are going, so we can fill out some preferences...
Kaido: (I want Japanese room style...)
Kawamura: As we are going to the mountains, Tezuka was very excited about it.
Kaido: He likes mountains?! Buchou?! (Tezuka: WAAI WAAI Mountain!!)
Kawamura: Who would think so, right? His hobbies seem to be mountain climbing and fishing.
Kaido: And what are your hobbies, senpai?
Kawamura: M...me? I don't think I have, actually...
Kawamura: Only muscle training and helping in the restaurant, I guess...And you, Kaido?
Kaido: Running.
Kawamura: We have similar hobbies, then.
Kawamura: Can you pass that to Momo once you fill it?
Kaido: Yes.
Kawamura: I am happy I could talk to you a bit today. See you later at practice!
Momo: ...What are you doing, Kaido...that's disgusting.
Kaido: ............................!!!
Momo: Come on, be quick about it!
Kaido: Shuddup!!!!
Now this story is about Kawamura being injured after the game against Fudomine. He is not wearing his jersey because he doesn't think he will need it before the Nationals, at this pace. And then he is going to quit tennis to help his dad in the restaurant. Fuji asks him about the jersey, puts his on Taka-san, and then asks him why doesn't he try playing as a southpaw.
Fuji: I'll help you. Try.
Kawamura: Hey. Fu...
Then Kawamura asks something about Fuji having foreign relatives (on his father side?) to explain the kiss.
Kawamura keeps supporting the team, without puting on his jersey...not yet.
Now, let's go back to the most glorious moment of the story:
"WAAAAI, WAAAI, MOUNTAIN!!"
I am sure he worshipped Yamato-buchou only because he had the "Yama" (mountain) on his name, regardless of the kanji.
At the end there is some hints of RyoKai as well, when Kaido is on a shopping quest for a new bandana for the concentration, and Inui, Kikumaru and Ryoma follow him closely to see what he is up to. He will end up using one Ryoma recommended, that he already had at home but had never worn before ^^
