Sometimes starting over after a week or so of not touching a story can help breathe new life into it. Although I see you've already solved that dilemma 8) I do find dialogue heavy stories difficult to write, so usually I have them set over a series of conversations that happen over a longer period of time, which allows whoever's POV I'm sitting on the shoulder of to digest what they're being told.

RE: TST, I am pretty sure I won't be returning for at least a really long time, since I think I'm experiencing some heavy Joshua burnout among other things. If he's still free if I decide to pick him up again, I'll let you know.

Dialogue heavy stories just make me think I COULD DO BETTER THAN THIS regardless of how good or bad it may actually be.

Anyway, my return will also depend on the direction the new TST will be going in, both in a 'whatever will be replacing ships' way, the OOC conduct and the policy on old returning character, the first probably being the least influential.

The last one is probably my biggest concern, because I am not sure I feel entirely comfortable bringing Joshua with ALL. DAT. HISTORY into a game that appears to also be catering to new blood, too. If it was something as simple as being aged up, it'd be fine, but it's... not. I guess it feels kind of... like I'm imposing, bringing with me 3 years worth of CR all ready made when the new players have to work for it :/a

Yeah, that is something that worries me too, and honestly I'm not sure there's anything for Ness to do if I do bring him back. As much as I love him, playing him as he is now would just be really boring. I feel like there isn't anything left for him to do, to be honest. :c

Honestly, I feel kind of the same way. I've done (almost) everything I want to with Joshua, to the point seeking new CR doesn't feel as exciting!!1!1 as it once did. It's like I'm echoing something I've already done, which is not the mindset I want to go into new CR with.

(I still think Joshua would have been a temporary runaway bride/groom on the wedding day)

ha ha, well, we'll sleep on it. Though honestly I'm leaning towards "No, Ness you are TST retired go enjoy married life okay"

(Of course, but he was quickly found because Joshua can run, but he can't hide)

Same here. Except it's less enjoy and more, "HOW DOES ONE MARRIED LIFE??"

(The question is whether he was knocked out and dragged back to the altar, or whether he was actually allowed to mope for a while before returning.)

Agreed. Milk is way too dependent upon her in-game history and CR, so is Sara, I can't exactly justify Kaoru being dead to new players from the canon, and even Bu-ling has in-game development that would need to be explained.
