so a billion years ago (like, a little over a month) my computer got a virus while i was downloading entourage torrents. so i had to reformat and blah blah blah. long story short, my computer finally works again. and i lost all my music and all my videos. i had the entire fuckin' traielr park boys series, man! you know how long that took to get?! i'm slowly building up my music again. the MOZ folder is the current project. you don't care. why am i still talking about this? next subject.
um, i got a job. i've said this through various psp-posted bulletins and status updates via myspace, but now it's livejournal official, which, as we all know, is the final say in officialness, which spell check tells me is, in fact, a word. i get my first paycheck tomorrow. so now i'm not worried about buying christina (i think after 7 months of being together, i can stop saying "my girlfriend" in livejournal and start using her real name) her christmas presents. i know for sure i can get her two out of the three things i want to get her. pretty sure i can afford the first. know i can afford the second. the third might be iffy, because i need to order it online. or drive around looking for it. i really wish she wasn't such a typical girl about gifts. not because of the price or anything, but just because i know she'll use it for 2 months, at best, and it'll be in the corner of her room somewhere after that.
on the subject of gifts, she got me an xbox360 for an early birthday present. i turn 22 freakishly soon. ga-ross. i know. anyway, it's an xbox360 arcade, so no hard drive. but no biggie, i can buy one later when i really need one. oh, yeah, the xbox stopped working and got the red ring of death upon the second time turning it on, so that's pretty cool. we're going to try and return it to target and if they won't take it back, send it in to microsoft.
what else happened? ummm... my cat is still cute. my room currently smells like pickles because there's a sonic bag with bits of sonic-burger still in it. ummmm. i read lunar park awhile back. uhh, oh yeah, finally read less than zero, too. i mean, whatever, it was a one day book. nothing that i feel bad for being late on. lunar park was a great fucking book, though. what else did i do? i guess that's it.
