vacation
i have been on vacation since last friday. went to hyde park on thursday night. strawberry picking with the mom on friday and then we went buck wild making jam. which is surprisingly easy. got to see corrie before she left. but i never got my movies back from her. oh well i have kind of forgotten which ones i lent her anyway. save for dazed and confused. that i will always regret. i could get the dvd. oh well.
tara and i saw v for vendetta at the welfare cinemas which i miss. so cheap. and the movie was great. i know i am real late on seeing it. i have found out that the cobble hill cinemas are only like 6 bucks and though it is pretty far from my place i will make that sacrifice since its like 5 bucks cheaper than any other place. even if it smells like pee i will still go. you get used to smells anyway.
the past few days i have been a big lazy bastard. not really doing anything.
today meghan and i had lunch with cabrini and got to see a very small portion of the UN. they close the garden really early and that was very disappointing. they had this photography exhibit showing some of the worlds oldest people. one lady survived being hit my lightening. another one survived the bomb at hiroshima. if they can beat that then they will surely never die. after that we bummed our way around the city. i got the great muppet caper. something that i have wanted to see again for a very long time now.
tomorrow i am going for job consultation with daisy. hopefully sometime soon i can get a new job. yay!
