Mila turned 6 months last week. How did that happen?
She is getting up on all fours and attempting to crawl, but no success yet. Had her first solid foods a couple weeks ago just shy of 6 months and ate like a pro. She was doing the crying like she is hungry right after eating, throwing fits while we ate, grabbing at food with intent. Though she has yet to do any real babbling. She screeches like a banshee and is very vocal, but not babbling. OH, still no teeth.
Layne is about the same hyper little guy he has always been. He is starting to pick up some words and combining a few now and then. According to milestones he is on track for 18-23 months, but slacking in the 2-3 years. Since he is just barely 2, I am not too worried. As much as I may want him to excel, he's doing fine at his current pace. We are working with him a lot so hopefully that will spark some change. He's has a strong interest in books now that he has never had. I don't think he had the attention span for it before, but it helps that he can now point things out on his own and say or ask what they are. I always TRIED reading to him, but he usually never lasted very long. He especially did not keep requesting to read with him over and over before now.
WAHH! This is to prove to mayna that she is not always smiling.
