I haven't started going yet, so nothing. haha But I'm leaning towards education. It's sad really. The two fields that interest me the most (medical, education) I hate the bureaucracy amongst other things involved with them.
I'm in the medical field (not hands-on, more information-related) and I love it!! But I hated the bureaucracy too. I'm independent now, so other than kissing the ass of the person who signs my consulting contract, I'm pretty free. And there is so much work to be had. Education was my other choice in college, too!
Can I ask what you do? I still really like the idea of going into medicine. From what I have heard though (not really sure of the credibility of the sources) there are forced inoculations. While I can understand the "reasoning", I do not personally agree with immunizations. So that alone is pretty much enough for me to not bother.
I work in the field of health information (otherwise known as medical records) but I own my own business now. I specialize in electronic medical record systems, management consulting, and cancer registry, which has to do with data collection, abstracting and encoding medical data for cancer research. So, desk jobs, no direct patient care. Consequently, I do not have to be immunized for things like hepatitis like nurses do, though I do have to have a TB test annually
( ... )
I have heard alot of medical billing, but is it the same? The way you described your job seems alot more involved than medical billing (involved = good). I want a job that challenges me, but nothing horribly stressful either.
Oh, and I hope to one day be so lucky to work at a computer all day!! lol That is, other than when I did telephone retention sales. *cringe*
