(no subject)
so after excrutiating individual advisements that set me all the way back on my final to where i started, and were of no help at all, recouperating went like this:
melanie and i go to circuit city to be geeks and get all excited about electronics.
she buys a new tv, and two new dvd's, because she has more money than me, and this leads to me being jealous that i can't medicate myself by shopping at the moment.
but then i remember that she is my roomate and i can watch her new dvd's on her new tv....
so it worked out.
we go outside and there's a mr. softee ice cream truck (just ike in pete and pete) sitting outside playing ice cream truck music so we get ice cream cones with sprinkles to completely get rid of any left over bad feelings about school that were too stubborn for circuit city to cure. (by the way, these old ice cream trucks are all over the city and they ride down the street realy slow playing music and kids run after them and it's OUTSTANDING.)
so we go to sit in the park and eat ice cream. right after we sit down...and this is the best part...
the break dancing kids start blasting jackson 5 and the 1955 "i'm a kid eating ice cream in the city in the summer" mood was complete.
somehow i was sure that somewhere there were kids paying in a busted fire hydrant.
