We have 3 amazing entries so far, but would love to have more - so the voting will be more exciting :P

Most of mine are done. I'm just trying to figure out what to do with "shades."

you could add them to the icon....make a sort of a cracky one :P

or do some shading...

I'm still kind of new at this, so I'm not sure what shading an icon means.

well....to be perfectly honest....and after a quick browse through google, i'm not sure why i said that earlier :P

if you're looking for tutorials then this http://icon-tutorial.livejournal.com/ is a handy community (i'm gonna have a look through there myself)

I'll probably just go with the one I made of Random Guy Who Gets His Fingers Broken By Nate's Dad. I just don't like the icon much.

I don't know if it would count, but if you go to picnik.com and upload a picture (like say, make an icon, colored and everything, and upload it there) and go to the 'Create' folder, choose 'effects' on the white bar under there, and then choose 'Vignette' on the sidebar on the left, you can make a sort of shaded border. I don't know if Dora would count that as shaded, but it's worth a shot. :D
