My daughter just got a betta or Siamese fighting fish, and of course, he needs a name. She's bats some ideas around with her sister, but quickly decides, "Jayne. His name is Jayne."

I asked why, and she replied, "Because he's pretty, but dumb. And all he wants to do is eat, fight, and mate. Not necessarily in that order."

I couldn't argue her logic.
