This is amazing! I really, really like the POV and I think you captured it really well. Concrit-wise, I don't know about soaking through her pants, but everything else reads right on. I especially like the weapon banter-- you did that really well, kept it hot and it never, ever strayed toward cheesy. The ending was also very realistic, her wondering whether or not he was just going to go to sleep and trying to come to terms with that.

Wonderful, wonderful stuff. I am feeling no pain right this minute! Thank you!

No cheese! Yay! :D Thank you for the helpful hint (Note to self: wet but not that wet), and for letting me know I got most of it right. I'm glad the banter worked for you, as that was my attempt to make the piece amusing, and not just smut.

I hope your healing process is coming along and your body makes the necessary adjustments quickly. Be patient with yourself.

Best wishes,
Leven

OMG, you have got to write "Mutiny in the Deep Black'”! I loved this story. It was sexy and fun. Great to see Zoe and Wash playing a game.

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it! I like stories where Zoe and Wash are playing, like razycrandomgirl's wonderful "Rainy Day Rest."

We'll see about the "Mutiny." :) I'm trying to focus on the Wash novel, although it's true my keyboard often dashes off for little holidays.

Yeah. It's a what I guess folks call a "fixit" story. (I hope you don't object to those on general principle. If you do, don't tell me, because from you I would find that extremely discouraging. *sheepish grin*) I started it before I found the on-line fandom. It's at about 65,000 words now and less than half done, so I really gotta get cracking on it.

What a great story. I love these sorts of fics that are both fantasy and realistic at the same time. You have a gift for writing character dialogue, I think :)
Oh, I and I just reviewed the Niedermayer story over at ff.net, but I figure I'd hop on my LJ an see what else you had to offer, and I'm glad I did! It's a bit disappointing that FF.net doesn't support NC-17, but since most of the writers over there are under 18, it makes sense.
Regardless, I am very glad that I can come here and enjoy the rest of your labors! :)

Thanks for letting me know you like my dialogue! Obviously, part of getting a character down is the readers believing that the character would actually say what the writer has them saying. :)

This was fun to write, kinda a little piece of what Wash brings to their relationship, which is the playfulness, pulling Zoe into a place where the 'verse isn't utterly dire, and that people can make their own joy.
