http://www.greenpeaceusa.org and send a message to Ashcroft, Bush, and the Federal Prosecutor, telling them not to prosecute the Greenpeace organization for something a few Greenpeace members did (and have already been punished for). Sending the email or fax is VERY EASY and it will take less than 2 minutes!
This is not designed so you'll get in line with my environmental
beliefs. I'm writing this because I feel very strongly about freedom of
speech, and I feel that this case threatens all groups interested in
speaking out for their beliefs. Furthermore, if the government can pursue a
group for this, they can pursue individuals as well. Do you really want the
government telling you what you can and cannot say? You may disagree with Greenpeace, and you may think well, if they shut down Greenpeace the world will be a better place, but if successful they won't stop with Greenpeace--eventually the government will get to an organization or individual you do like. In general, a precedence like this woud prevent the honest, legal discourse that is so essential in the process of progress and the "democracy" that this Republic's gov't claims to value so much while they shuffle around in the background violating its principles.
