Ramos and Compean, finally, sort of

These two border guards, convicted in a very badly managed and politically charged case -- were not pardoned.

They should have been in my opinion. Instead, and better than nothing, their sentences were commuted. But even that won't take place for two months.

As the article quotes someone saying: Why must they serve two more months of a sentence that was termed unjust?

I do hope they get their jobs back.

If Barack Obama wants to score points, he could actually pardon these two. I don't think it's likely.
