A Little Bit of Grit
This is a common-enough scene in New York City. The photograph was taken inside an adult video store, and even though there seems to be nothing risqué blatantly visible in this shot, I've placed it under the cut. But there is something peculiar in the scene -- something that will catch your eye as out of place. And when you learn why it's there, I'll bet you'll be startled.
Despite the other potential eye-catchers in the picture, the "penny" in the foreground stands out. It has a reason to be there...
Now, this photo was taken not far away.
Back to that penny in the first image: It is actual size. And the subway car is less than a foot tall.
I stumbled upon Mr. Wolfson's work looking for something completely different -- and I must say this qualifies.
