Thank you for the link, sir. Goodness! There is a lot to it, and more links from it.

It's interesting -- on the one hand, I found myself skeptical about the accuracy of some things, like the poll results. On the other hand, some of those poll results are actually rather negative -- for example, 50% disagreed with the statement "My life was better before the war". I couldn't find the source data for the poll (there's PowerPoint file that might've had more, but I don't have PP at home), but that suggests the other 50% agreed with the statement.

OTOH, we did trash the country and it's not rebuilt yet, so maybe that number is just "right now" and will improve further in another year. And that the poll contains things that are not promising, like that statistic, makes me feel better about its provenance and accuracy.
