Still boring
Finally got around to downloading an LJ client for the Mac here. Come to think of it I haven't NAMED the Mac yet. Hmm... I guess I should get on that. Not sure why I decided that I *NEEDED* the client, it's not like I have multiple accounts I need to update. I am sort of tempted to get a Dreamwidth account kuz of the principle of the matter, but honestly the whole LJ-fanfic-guerilla-warfare thing hasn't affected me too much. I *AM* upset about LJ's policies, but I also see LJ as a necessary evil in the fandom community. I can't imagine life without it! 0_0
Still putting in job applications. Its getting to the point now on careerbuilder where I've already applied for everything. Frustrating. I'm hopeful though. I need to be at this point.
Headed to Onee-sama's on Saturday. Okaa-sama bought me rechargeable batteries for my Wiimote, so I guess now I need to head out and buy a second Wiimote (and Nunchuck and possibly Classic Controller) so we have 2 controllers this weekend. I don't have much though, just Mario Galaxy and Mario Kart Double Dash from the Gamecube. I guess I can bring in Guilty Gear if Geuna-chan and Gitta-kun want to play. I need to buy Accent Core Plus anyway.
I have finally discovered the medium corn salsa at Chipotle. I've been going there since my vegetarian days, so 2004 at least. I got the corn the first time I went, but I got the mild salsa and the beans as well; so overall it was unpleasantly spicy for me, and I never got the corn again. On a whim last weekend I decided to give it a try, and was very pleasantly surprised to find it sweet/spicy and VERY yummy. I got a VERY small amount last weekend, and I noticed that it got slightly spicier the more I ate; so I hope if I get a bigger amount that it won't make it TOO spicy. I shall have to experiment. ANYONE WANT CHIPOTLE?!
Have also been debating getting a Twitter. Strangely enough it was Dan's friends who were gung-ho that I get one. 0_o I still don't know if I will, as I'm sort of annoyed by the mass exodus from LJ to Twitter. Plus I don't have a smart phone OR unlimited text messages, so I'd only be able to check from a computer. This is how one of Dan's friends does it, but I'm not sure how it will work for me...
