Once upon a time, I wrote a fanfic for this show.  People seemed to dig it, so I wrote another.

Okay.. this.. I have no words to tell you how much I liked it, woman. This part made me smile like crazy:

Marcy wrinkled her nose. "You'd better shorten that, or you're both toolier than my screwdriver."

"It wasn't my idea," he said quickly, but still with a trace of that laugh in his voice. He couldn't seem to stop smiling, his eyes crinkling in a sweet way at their corners. "It means 'to bind'. I could go for a screwdriver about now," he mumbled to himself vaguely, in that way he had of taking a pun or an entire conversation too far.

The way you see into Hank's head (and heart) is so incredibly in character. Are you sure you're not one of the writers of the show?? XD Anyway, the screwdrivver thing made me laugh like mad. And then:

"Score one for Auntie Smurf."

Smug bastard. "If you actually indoctrinate this poor, helpless child to call me that, they'll never find your body. I know people."

"Aw, come on," he chuffed, slinging his heavy arm around her shoulders. "What kid doesn't love an angry little Smurf? Granted, you're not actually blue, but I could hold your nose and we'd go from there."

I lost it there! Not only is that whole conversation between them touching, but hilarious in a way that only Hank and Marcy could ever accomplish. I love it!

got me to admit that I maybe sort of secretly ship Hank/Marcy, because they are the Best Ever and make me laugh the most.

Oh weeeeeeeeeeeeellll... I think you've made me do the same very thing with this, lol. Oh my. Who'd have thought! ♥ If you ever feel intimidated about writing from someone else's POV, you must ignore it and do it, Zellie, because this was so gorgeous I'd love to read more, and more, and more, and.. you get it. Saving to memories to read later *sighs happily*

Oh yay, this is such lovely, meaty feedback -- the best kind! :D

I had a lot of fun writing that scene in the maternity ward, I'm glad it shows. There wasn't much dialogue in the fic overall (much like my first Cali fic, actually, lol), so that was really my one main shot to work with them both.

Thank you again so much for reading and leaving such a wonderful comment dear (and THEN pimping it in your own LJ!), I'm so flattered.

Hehe, meaty feedback indeed. I would have quoted all my favorite parts, but I don't think LJ permits to post so much in a comment.
