Ok, something that's been really bugging me lately

I keep reading, alot lately how Noah was abusive to Luke in their relationship and I have to ask what the?????? Yes, he pushed Luke away and hurt him terribly in the process.... but seriously how is that abusive? yes I know that wasn't right and to tell the truth I didn't like him during that time, but I've forgiven him since then, still he never called Luke names, made him feel less or physically abused him. On the contrary, when they were together he was nothing but supportive and protective of Luke, pushed him to better himself because he knew Luke could become even more successful if he had goals in his life. Seriously I just don't understand what he did to warrant all this hatred. I mean i've seen other characters, gay characters do worse and people still love them and want them with their Luke. People have even gone far enough as to call Nuke toxic, again I have to ask WTF??

Lets take a look at the other couples shall we?
DeRo-Deniz & Roman(AWZ) I'm crazy about them, and adore them but in some areas they are a bit toxic and both of them have made major mistakes hurting eachother terribly:
1. Deniz-

1. Got physical with Roman when he was afraid to come out,
2.  Let Roman get beat up by Bulle,
3. lied and protected Bulle after Roman was hospitilized.
4. Cheated
5. used and lied to Roman, while on drugs
6. denied his feelings for Roman because he wasn't ready to accept them, hurt Roman by doing so
7. tried to hurt Roman back everytime he was hurt by him

2. Roman

• lied about his knee to keep Deniz with him 
• let Deniz do drugs so he could sleep with him
• treated Deniz like crap when he was trying to win him back, although understandably
• lied about his family
• cheated

see? much worse than Nuke, or anything that Noah has ever done. Still people love them(including me) and want them together. The good thing here is that my boys seem to grow and learn from their mistakes, and they do belong together ;).

Craig

• beat up John Paul
• denied his feelings because he was afraid of them
• cheated on Sarah with JP and vice versa
• used both John Paul and Sarah

John Paul
Used Hannah
Denied his feelings when Craig returned
was willing to marry Kieron eventhough he knew it wouldn't really work out between them because his heart belonged to someone else.

Again how is pushing away someone worse than cheating, lying and using people????? I mean if these characters be forgiven for their mistakes why can't Noah???????

Is it because LuRe is new and shinny???? and according to some people Nuke had gotten stale? is that it?
I get people not liking a pairing anymore but please don't make up characteristics that the character doesn't have to make your guy look better.
