Perhaps you'd like to see some of my notes on the subject, Mr. Xemnas.

Very well, I can come to the lab later on this evening if you'll still be around?

I will. Time and science wait for no man, I fear.

You seem to make the incorrect assumption that this is the only place where the Dead can return. Perhaps here, the border between life and death is as permeable as it is in my world.

Though I must admit, I am glad the Dead here are more... human than the ones I have known.

I will admit that there was - and still is - some assumption on my part; places where I have yet been able to uncover the answers I have sought for ever since my arrival here. But it was not that this is the only place that that which ought to have been dead can return. Instead, I was assuming that this place operated on far more... strict rules in regards to the dead, namely that death is the end of all things.

Ah, where as my assumptions are that a world would operate under the principles I am use to.

This place is rather... illogically put together. I would love to be able to sit and talk with it's creators some time.

Perhaps it is the nature of the worlds that have been forced together with such reckless abandon that necessitates the oddity of this place?

Perhaps neither life, nor death exist here. Perhaps the City cannot die, but is not alive either. A world of the undead~

Ah, but what of those who are brought here still very much alive, then?

Maybe they aren't really, in the City. Time stops in their world, yes? So perhaps it is only an in-between state they're in, until they resume being fully alive in their world again.

I have heard that to be the case, although I have not had the chance to experience myself.

It's a bit wrong, isn't it?

Coming back.

It is not something I am unused to, but that does not make it anymore unnatural.

Does it happen, in your world?

Only on the rarest of occasions.

Superior, I have observed the matter, indeed.

But I have a doubt.
Heartless are not stronger than Nobodies. Or I am mistaken?

They are not. But if I may ask a question in return, why the curiosity?

[That is not a comforting noise...]

Would you care to repeat that?
