Seventh Order
Despite the recent events of the city, work on the preliminary design for a device to contain Heartless shows promise indeed. However, this is not a surprise given that the principles are sound. Difficult to maintain, perhaps, but that is not an insurmountable obstacle. And that permanence is something that it needs and something I cannot give it by using my own strength to keep it running; I cannot have that kind of drain on my resources here. Not with XI and XII yet at large in the City.
I shall need to make a trip to the nearest equivalent to a library this place has, I expect. It has been ages upon ages since I last needed to create a permanent ward of this sort and it would not go while to have the project fouled by faded memories.
In addition, there is also the matter of the aforementioned XI and XII. It is a shame that I will not be able to use what I have in mind for the Heartless there, but this is a matter that is better dealt with sooner rather than later; more so now that I have finally managed to wrangle as much of an admission as I am likely to ever get from XI. The City is not entirely heartless, or so it would seem - I have it and it alone to thank for what I have obtained from the foremost of the traitors. But I will not risk this without something of a secondary plan should things not go entirely well.
But this is a minor detail, and easy enough to deal with. It should not take long to find something suitable.

[There's a sharp, electrical sort of snap, and then the soft hum of his aerial blades. And for a while, it seems that's going on to be the only sounds that come through, but at length, he finally speaks up.]
I would not have considered hair to be a threat before arriving here in this City. A variety of other unusual things, but not this. And yet, it seems that I, too, must deal which that which the city has wrought. A patchwork monster, borne of that which none expect. Truly a pathetic sight.
