past the rock that looks like a longneck, past the mountains that burn.
let your heart lead the way. it whispers, listen closely.
-famous last words of littlefoot's mom.
on one hand, we have the play, about the spider that bit everyone.
spiders only live two to three years.
interesting. imagine that.
either way, more people are onto the spider...even if they dont know it.
on the other hand we have the land before time. which fires so many nerves in my brain at the same time that i freak out and weep. remembering the age i was when i saw this, the way it made me feel, the fear of losing my loved ones (especially mother) and just how much i care for animation, and the overall story.
the thing that really yanks me around, is the soundtrack by james horner.
i wont go into it, but suffice to say, i find myself humming along and knowing the changes and tunes, i barely even have to watch the movie to know what is happening.
right now, little foots mom is about to pop up.
and that song comes along to break my heart.
god bless mr. don bluth.
the great valley was all they dreamed it would be
a land of green, leaves, and life.
there were waterfalls, grassy meadows
enough tree stars to feast on forever, and grazing amongst them, their families.
and they all grew up together in the valley
generation upon generation
each passing on to the next the tale of their ancestors journey to the valley
long...ago
my cat is very clever, shes starting to realize the next arena is that of the outdoor animal.
but if she escapes like she dreams, some hood cat will just come along and POOF make her pregnant.
ill be pissed, so no outdoor kitty for her.
