elf life
elf life is another ancient primordial monster back from the days of 1999. i wiki'd it this morning and apparently it is the proud holder of the 2001 web cartoonists choice award for best fantasy comic. it is another one of the comics that taught me not all web comics have to be three pannels of two guys staring blankly at a wall and talking about playstations and xboxes, but instead can be about magic, and adventure, and pretty illustrations! it follows the adventures of baughb the elf, accidental hero and generally pretty cool dude. elf life starts out as a lighthearted story, but as it goes on it gets progressively darker, and unfortunately finishing halfway through a chapter. however, the current archive of the story is a awesome read as it is.

**note: i've been checking through the archives, and the story is even more disorganized than it used to be, unfortunately. if you can look past those parts however, it's still awesome**
